The NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction Certificate is a globally recognised qualification for those in the construction industry or those looking to move into the construction industry. This course is guided by UK Legislation, but focus on best practice with practical application to realistic scenarios that learners will more than likely face during their careers.
The course is divided into two modules, NG1 and NG2. There is a minimum of 68 taught hours, with learners expected to dedicate an additional 40 hours of private study and background reading to prepare for the Open Book Examination (OBE) and individual risk assessment project.
We provide this course as two separate five day blocks, with an additional revision day, a OBE preparation session (via Zoom/Teams), the OBE examination, project guidance and closing interview session. As a NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner, we support learners throughout the duration of your course, with three NEBOSH instructors available for support and guidance.
This qualification is aimed at those within the construction industry, including but not limited to; site managers, contracts managers, site workers with health and safety responsibilities and safety advisors.
It is advised that those who commit to this course do so with the understanding that this is an intense course which requires a lot of home study, background reading and extensive time dedicated to preparing for the open book examination.
If you are looking to start or build upon your career in the construction industry, this course is suitable for you. It provides a good foundation upon which to build and progress further, either via the NEBOSH Diploma or NCRQ qualification.
It is vital that learners have a suitable standard of the English language in order to understand the concepts within the syllabus, as well as the Open Book Examination (OBE).

Learners will receive one A4 certificate upon successfully passing both NG1 and NG2 units. Results should be received within 50 working days from the date of examination or submission of assignment. The specific date is written on the examination entry confirmation.
The NEBOSH Health & Safety Management for Construction Certificate meets the requirements for learners to subsequently apply for Technical Membership (TechIOSH) with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), Associate Membership (AIIRSM) with the Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and Associate membership (AaPS) with the Association of Project Safety.
